Learn More About Successful School Transitions
Join the School Liaison Officer for a workshop about school transitions
Parent University: Transitions
Thursday, September 29
11am - 12pm
Airman & Family Readiness Center
Have you heard of the Interstate Compact? Do you know how it could help
your child transition to a new school? Have you ever considered building a
portfolio to take from school to school? Is it overwhelming to try and find
information about new schools at PCS time?
Come learn about these topics and more at the Transitions Parent University.
If you'd like to make it a "lunch and learn" bring your lunch with you.
The School Liaison will stay after to answer questions, hear concerns and
find out what other Parent University sessions you would like to see at
McConnell.
Attendees will receive handouts and a binder to help start their child's
portfolio. Please call the A&FRC at 759-6020 to register.
